Forty-Four years ago today
Miss Carole Jean Oglesbee walked down the aisle and became Mrs. Carole Nelson on August 25, 1962. It's good to remember such milestones, I think. We divorced in February of 1981, but before doing so we had a lot of fun and interesting experiences together. And, of course, we had two sons, Jeff and Mike, who are themselves now fathers and husbands. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Dickens said it best, I suppose:

Nice blog; a bit of feeling in this one. Being technically disadvantaged, of course I would respond more to this type of blog.
It is too bad our youth is overwhelmed by riotous emotions and unevolved temperaments. At a time when we should be the happiest, our lives are the most tumultuous.
The strong emotions create strong memories. I think my youth was mostly characterized by a free-form intensity--ambitions, opportunities and possibilities most of which did not materialize.
All and all it is better than the comfort and peace of «last days.»
