Tom Wright's birthday dinner
As is our custom, our group got together last night to celebrate Tom Wright's birthday, which was on Saturday, December 11th. There were 9 of us in attendance at El Charro's here in Knoxville, but I only took a couple of pictures. The one at the right is of Tom and Terry Vanderplas.

Perry: Thanks for the post and the picture. Thanks for being there last night and for the fantastic photo. I am not going to venture into West Knoxville just now for anything if I can help it, but will soon be looking for a 5 x 7 frame.
I'm trying to get my schedule worked out. I remembered mid-conversation last night that I had told two guys who had hosted an event that I wanted to take them out as thanks, and they had just told me Sat. night that the only day they were available was Sunday the 19th. So that was the confusion. I was also a little rattled. Had come to the dinner straight from the emergency room because i had had some sort of strange heartbeat, flushing, swelling, hives that lasted about an hour and a half as it turned out. They put me on a heart monitor today. Guess turning 55 does that to you. LOL
Things are working OK on the PC, so there's no hurry. But hope we can do it soon. With xmas coming up, and my attempts to contact and arrange meetings with the 5 or 6 members of my family that I still associate with, I am reluctant to try to plan anything. Can put it off till after New Year's?

Now you take care of whatever medical issue that is and keep in touch.
